My Family

Taylor, Jacob, me and Noah. Thanksgiving 2008

Noah with straight hair

Noah had me straighten his hair. He was so excited. Anyone who has naturally curly hair can sympathize with this longing.

Thanksgiving 2008

Everyone was able to get together this year for Thanksgiving! It was really nice. top : Grandma Joan and Grandpa Juan. middle: Aunt Jenny holding Aunt Sherry's youngest, Jolee. bottom: everyone opening gifts: Uncle Josh, Jake, Noah, Brock, Taylor, Megan and Aunt Jenny. not pictured: Grandpa Rick, Grandma Pam (thanks for the great dinner), Aunt Sherry, Uncle Mike, Mikey, Christain and Jolee.

Boo At The Zoo 2

They role play very well. Taylor liked her costume....mmm...maybe too much! Maybe she has more of me in her than I thought.

Boo At The Zoo

Well, no one can say my children are camera shy. The weather was great, the zoo was not too crowded and the animals were active. This is my favorite spot in the zoo. Obviously, we had fun. Taylor was goth girl, Jake was Rey Mysterio- a wrestler and Noah was spiderman.

'nuff said (it's Jake, by the way)

Hmm....

What is she thinking and what will she do next? (duck and cover everyone!)

A view from grandma's back yard.

Taa...Dah! I'm fab-u-lous!

The craziness behind the scenes. I have no idea where they get it from....

NO. I...don't. No, you...can't....make...me.... Oh, whatever! HaHaHaHa. (I won)

He's starting to take after his sister, Taylor. Hmmph.

My beloved and greatly missed grandma and grandpa. May they rest in peace.

Fun at the park with Noah. Spring 2008

Up the slide. Spring 2008. Jake

Swimming at grandmas...or rather standing there hiding from the camera on a beautiful day. 2008

Ooh, that's a little chilly. 2008

Finding Noah, I mean Nemo.

Heads Up!

Ode to a teenager: that awkward, Jekyl and Hyde- type place where they find themselves constantly undecided and ever-so-slightly imbalanced between the decision of playing a five year old and a thirty year old. But I am highly honored that she still speaks to me. Thank you, Taylor.

Our fishing trip with grandma and grandpa was a big hit. Noah caught the first fish. No worries, it was a catch and release type day; not one perished in all the fun.

This really is a 'perfect snapshot' of the essence of Jake! One had better be on guard around him! Muwahhaha. 2008

We stopped briefly for a snapshot as we were walking through the park. Noah 2008

Welcome Aboard

Welcome to the Franke Family's blog site. This has been created in an attempt to keep everyone updated more regularly...life is crazy, you know! Hopefully, this will allow everyone to watch the kids grow up via the net (next best thing now-a-days) since first hand is not an option (except for me, of course!). Please keep hands and legs inside at all times while navigating through the site. Enjoy the ride. 8P
